Young Buck Grazing
Morning at Point Reyes. The light was soft, pretty typical for the coast. I was out looking for something, anything really, when I spotted this guy.
He was just there, grazing, completely calm. I couldn't believe how close I got, maybe twenty feet away, easy. Not often you get that kind of trust from a wild animal.
Just kept shooting as he munched away. Love how the light catches the velvet on his antlers, and that one purple iris pops in the foreground. It was an amazing experience, really.
