Golden Gate Night Haze
Man, it was cold out there, low 40s and the wind just cutting through everything. But I knew I had to get this shot of the Golden Gate. It’s one of those iconic views that never gets old, especially at night.
The city across the bay was hazy, which actually worked out. It softened the lights, gave everything a bit of a dreamlike glow behind the bridge's sharp lines. The Golden Gate itself was just vibrant against that dark, deep blue.
I set up for a long exposure, wanted to capture those car lights streaking across the bridge. It took some patience with the wind trying to shake the tripod, but the lines of light really tell the story of movement here. Worth the freezing fingers.
